64 percent of applicants to SUNY College at Potsdam were admitted for fall 2018

At SUNY College at Potsdam, 95 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Potsdam enrolled 3,521 students in fall 2018, including 3,298 in undergraduate and 223 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

96 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 4 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (61 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (15 percent).

The school admitted 64 percent of the 6,423 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 21 percent enrolled.
