Samaritan Medical Center has announced the recipients of its Outstanding Workers in Long Term Care (OWL) Award for January 2025. The awardees are Jessica Frazier, a Certified Nursing Assistant at Samaritan Summit Village, and Heidi Doolittle, a housekeeper at Samaritan Keep Home.
Jessica Frazier was nominated by a resident's family member who praised her ongoing care, kindness, and respect. Heidi Doolittle received her nomination from a fellow caregiver who remarked, "She is always willing to help anyone in need and does so with such compassion and empathy. She is personable and a stellar environmental services employee."
Both Frazier and Doolittle were honored with certificates and tokens of appreciation during ceremonies held at their respective facilities.
The OWL Awards are part of an ongoing recognition program where nominations can be submitted by patients, families, or colleagues at any time. More information about the Samaritan DAISY, BEE, and OWL Awards can be found on the organization's website.
