Senator Walczyk has announced his new committee assignments, expanding his roles within the legislative body. He has been appointed as the Ranking Member on the Elections, Cities 2, and Commission on Rural Resources committees. Additionally, he will serve on the Banks, Energy, Telecommunications, Housing, and Internet and Technology committees.

In his role as Ranking Member on the Elections committee, Senator Walczyk aims to safeguard election integrity and promote voter engagement. His work with the Cities 2 committee will focus on supporting upstate communities by ensuring they have necessary resources. As part of the Commission on Rural Resources commission, he plans to address challenges faced by rural areas through economic development and sustainability initiatives.
