The Power of the Modern Library with Dr. Bob Dillon
The well designed library sparks curiosity in learning, provides sanctuary and respite for students and showcases the power of ideas. Breaking the mold of current spaces to realize this possibility means thinking about the space in new ways. This session looks at how library redesign can turn these learning spaces into the heart of the school. It is filled with practical ideas, images of impactful spaces and discussion about how to design, implement, document and celebrate your transformation. About the presenter: Dr. Robert Dillon has served as a thought leader in education over the last 20 years as a teacher, principal, and director of innovation. He is passionate about changing the educational landscape by building engaging schools for all students. Dr. Dillon has shared his thoughts and ideas in a variety of publications, and at local, state, and national conferences throughout the country. He is also the author of five books on intentional design in learning.
