Gouverneur Man Arrested for Felony DWI
St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies charged Todd E. Fuentes with Driving While Intoxicated - Previous Conviction in 10 Years (Felony), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree (Felony), Use Other Vehicle Without Interlock (Misdemeanor) and Vehicle and Traffic Law violations following a traffic stop on Gouverneur Street in the Town of Canton. During the course of the investigation, Fuentes was found to be intoxicated while operating the vehicle. Fuentes refused to submit to a chemical test to determine the alcohol content of his blood. Fuentes was arraigned in the Canton Town Court where he was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility. St. Lawrence County Sheriff Deputies were assisted by the Canton Police Department.
