78 percent of applicants to SUNY College of Technology at Canton were admitted for fall 2018

At SUNY College of Technology at Canton, 75 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Canton enrolled 3,213 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 11 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

97 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 2 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (65 percent) and Black or African American (15 percent).

The school admitted 78 percent of the 4,485 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 21 percent enrolled.
