Antwerp village recently issued the following announcement.
DUE TO AN EXECUTIVE ORDER ISSUED BY GOVERNEUR CUOMO, THE VILLAGE BOARD WILL BE MEETING VIA ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCING. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LISTEN IN PLEASE CONTACT THE VILLAGE CLERK PRIOR TO APRIL 8. YOU WILL BE PROVIDED LOG IN INFORMATION ONCE AVAILABLE. A FULL TRANSCRIPT OF THIS MEETING WILL BE TAKEN AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS hereby given that the tentative budget for the Village of Antwerp for the fiscal year 2020-2021, including an annual stipend of $2400 each for the Trustees and $5600 for the Mayor, has been completed by the Board of Trustees and a copy of said budget has been filed in the office of the clerk. A full copy of the budget can be viewed by emailing the village clerk at: antwerpvillage@yahoo.com. A Public Hearing will be held April 8 at 5:45 pm at the Village Office. Given the current circumstances surrounding the Covid 19 pandemic, and in compliance with orders issued by the Governor, the public will not be permitted to attend this hearing. However, written comments may be submitted to the Village Board regarding the proposed budget anytime from the date of this notice until the time of the hearing by US mail or email. Any comments received will be read into record of the hearing and considered by the Village Board.
NOTICE IS hereby given that the Regular monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees will immediately follow the public hearing.
