Samaritan Auxiliary’s One Night, One Diamond event is scheduled for March 29, 2025, at The Peak on Fort Drum. The event promises an evening of dinner and dancing. Tickets are priced at $225 per couple or $115 per individual and include a meal by The Clipper Inn and music from the band ‘Atlas’. Attendees will also have the chance to win diamonds donated by Cook’s Jewelers or get-away packages to Lake Placid’s Mirror Lake Inn Resort & Spa and Clayton’s 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel.

The funds from this year’s event will go towards purchasing Cardiopulmonary Stress Testing Equipment for Samaritan Medical Center. This equipment allows for comprehensive assessments of heart health, lung function, and muscle strength during exercise. It is intended to aid in early detection of health issues and support tailored fitness plans. It will also contribute to expanding Samaritan’s Cardiology services.

This year’s Blue Diamond Sponsor is Apogee Physician, with Pink Diamond Sponsors including AmeriCU Credit Union, Bob Johnson Auto Group, KeyBank, and Purcell Construction. Media sponsors are Watertown Daily Times, 7News, Tunes 92.5, and Kara Dry Photography. Other significant sponsors are Coca-Cola Company, Hancock Estabrook, King + King Architects, The Martin Group, Nickles Property Service, and Slack Chemical Company.

Last year’s event raised over $100,000 for the purchase of the UroNav Fusion Biopsy System for Samaritan Urology Clinic.

The Auxiliary operates several initiatives including gift shops at Samaritan Medical Center and Samaritan Summit Village. They also run Sips Coffee Shop at the Medical Center along with uniform sales for staff. Their funding supports various programs including scholarships for employees’ education advancement. They have pledged $500,000 to the Walker Center for Cancer Care Capital Campaign.

For tickets or more information about the event visit www.samaritanhealth.com/onod or contact [email protected] RSVPs must be received by March 14 with names and birth dates for entrance onto Fort Drum.

The Samaritan Auxiliary was established in 1896 as a volunteer organization supporting healthcare programs at the House of the Good Samaritan. Since 2006 their events have funded nearly a million dollars in equipment purchases for Samaritan Medical Center.
