There was a single gas station in cities across Jefferson County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $3.53 per gallon in the week ending Oct. 12, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of premium gas in cities within Jefferson County was $4.04 per gallon.
Of the 70 reported gas stations in cities within Jefferson County, 21 offer premium gas.
The average reported price of premium gas in New York was $4.08, compared to $4.06 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
